Michelle Wie - Golf Teen

This is a classic for a teenager (sounds like one of my kids!)-

“There was a piece of moss right behind my ball,” Michelle Wie said. “I knew I hit it but I didn’t think it would result in a penalty of two strokes. I thought if you hit dirt it would be OK, but I guess I knew the rule wrong.”

That’s a quote from Michelle Wie the 16 year old from Hawaii who is playing in the Women’s British Open.

Come on girl, did you learn nothing at school, read the bloody rules of the game. How else do you expect to be taken seriously if you don’t know when you are doing something wrong!

I expect she’ll win some big golf tournament now :-))
