PM opposes gay marriage
The Prime Minister, John Howard, has expressed his opposition to gay marriage, saying the institution should be about ensuring the survival of the species.
Mr Howard says his comments are not an attack on gay people but are a strong statement in support of the central role of traditional marriage in Australia.
Mr Howard says marriage is one of society’s bedrock institutions and he does not want to see anything weaken it.
“Marriage as we understand it in our society is about children, having children, raising them, providing for the survival of the species,” he said.
“And I think if the same status is given in our society to gay unions as are given to traditional marriage we will weaken that bedrock institution.”
You know what really weakens my bedrock institutions? Flabby, balding, spineless, smug, hypocritical, horseshit lying, alarmist, God-fearing, shit-eating, private-school educated motherfuckers in suits with tertiary educations payed for by their rich mummies and daddies trying to convince themselves that they know what’s best for society. You can’t tell me that little Johnny dribbling his sparse, lethargic seed from his flaccid little lipstick-tube dick is particularly Edoeficial to the survival of the species either. Are mankind’s future ubermensches destined to be bald, bushy-eyebrowed little 5-foot garden gnomes who look like they belong in Santa’s workshop rather than Parliament House? Let’s just hope that the “Hans Moleman” gene is highly recessive.
The main thing that’s keeping me sane in this, the most backward, repressive and conservative era in about 15 years, is the increasingly desperate death throes of antiquated religious institutions.
